Sample edit - free of charge
Whether you are looking for a developmental editor, a copy editor, or a proofreader, I will gladly work up a chapter or two for you at no charge.
Developmental Editing
Stylistic editing, plus pointing out plot holes, helping with character development, organization, and written critique of the text if requested.
Proofreading
Scanning a document for errors in punctuation, basic grammar, word use (homophones) and spelling only.
Copy Editing
Stylistic editing (clarifying meaning, eliminating jargon, polishing language; line by line editing for smoothness and clarity while maintaining the author’s voice and style)
Contracts
Contracts available upon request and are recommended so all parties agree on the services to be performed and the fees charged.
